Android gaming is wonderful, isn’t it? Yes, indeed! This gaming experience becomes even more wonderful when you have a multiplayer platform in the gaming world! You sure know where I am leading you now, right? Right into the world of server sided games.
I’ll be concentrating on Clash Of Clans today. One of the most addicting game on the Google Play Store till date. You can find the official website here. SuperCell, The makers of this game claim the game to be absolutely foolproof. That’s right. Freedom, LuckyPatcher, GameCIH, GameKill.. Nothing works. Wonder why? Because it is a server sided game.
How does it work?
The resources you have are stored on a server as well as the client (The client in this case, is your device). What most of the memory scanners do is modify the client sided value of the game. Let’s say you have 5000 gold and 5000 elixir (or, whatever). You can use any above mentioned tools to modify it to 99999999 and be happy! It will work well with all the offline games. But here, Clash Of Clans is an online game. Every click you make in the game is recorded by the server hiding somewhere in the Internet and every modification in the gold or resource value is analyzed by this machine and only if it;s legitimate,does the machine allow that change to occur.
In simple words,
Let’s say you have 10 coins.
Client says the server : “Bro, I have 10 coins”.
**Server checks in the database**
Server says the client : “Okay, bro. You have 10 coins”.
Now let’s say I use a memory modifier and add 50 extra gold coins to it.
Client says the server : “Bro, I have got 50 extra coins. Update my gold value on server”
***Server checks the database***
Server now says : “No! You cannot have 50 coins as such! Your are a cracker!”
***Server sends an out-of-sync error and the game is restarted***
This is how it works. So how are the values updated on the server? The server needs proper justification for what you do. Say you click on the gold mine and you receive 50 coins. Now, the client sends a request mentioning that I got so much gold from the gold mine in this much time from this gold mine. The server checks the minutest details in the request and if the server finds no harm, the request is processed. So is there any workarounds by which you can fool the server?
The answer is a week, feeble, “Yes”. But doing it is *very* difficult and requires advanced knowledge on encryption and penetration testing tools like Metasploit and N-Map, which again requires the knowledge of Linux terminal. Of course it’s available for Windows too! But it’s a shame using it on a proprietary OS. So, the only way to crack and add resources to your Clash Of Clans account is by hacking their servers, which is illegal and can land you up into prison.
Please do not fall for all the websites that claim to “hack” your gems, gold or elixir. Nothing really works. Take my word.
However, there is a legitimate method of doing it .Several apps are available on the play store which gives you free Google Play Gift Cards just for downloading apps from within their app. THe best one that works really good is “Free Gift Cards” the link to which can be found here.

1) Download the XMod app from here : http://www.xmodgames.com/x.apk
2) Install the application.
3) Make sure you have the latest CoC from the play store.
4) Open the application and install the latest MOD for Clash Of Clans.
5) Launch the game within the app. If done properly, a cross will appear on the left side of the game.
6) That’s it! The game has been modded.
Feature explanation :
1) Gold more than & Elixir More than :
* Set this values to the minimum value of loot you want, enable the option “Search Switch” option. (Do not keep the values too high or you won’t find any opponent). Also make sure the Sandbox mode is off before attacking anyone.
How to do virtual attacks :
*Turn off the “Search Switch” option. Now train some troops and enable the sandbox mode. Now, click on any player in either clan war or somewhere else and visit him. Virtual attack will be enabled. You can attack him fully and in the end, the game will crash so that that attack doesn’t count. You can open the game and your troops will still be there.
(You can even attack the #1 player in the world :P)
